Matt Hammond
Matt Hammond, the Founder of Quality K9 Concepts, boasts an illustrious 11-year career in the U.S. Army as a highly skilled K-9 handler. His extensive expertise stems from a wealth of situational experience, including combat roles in Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Notably, Matt’s expertise led to his involvement in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, UT, reflecting his exceptional abilities and recognition in the field.
His diverse skill set encompasses obedience, protection, tactical work, as well as specialized training in narcotic and explosive detection. Matt’s proficiency extends to evaluating canine disposition, conformation, and trainability, a testament to his comprehensive understanding of canine behavior and training methodologies.
With a roster of certifications and affiliations, Matt’s credentials are impressive. He holds certification as a Police officer and is a member of USA (United Schutzhund Clubs of America), EGWDA (East Georgia Working Dog Association) certifying authority, AKC Canine Good Citizen, Trick Dog, and Temperament Test evaluator. Additionally, he is an IACP professional member, Schutzhund trial helper, Founder and Former Director of Decoys for the APPDA, ASR Certified Decoy, and the Founder of Dogs 4 Blue and H-3.
At QK9C, Matt serves as the personable voice guiding clients through sales and all business-related aspects, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience to ensure the delivery of top-quality services and solutions..
Julianna B
As both the Office Manager and a dedicated Dog Trainer at Quality K9 Concepts, Julianna brings organization, communication, and canine expertise together to ensure every client and dog receives the best experience from start to finish.
With a background in behavior-focused training and a passion for helping owners understand their dogs, Julianna specializes in puppy foundations, board-and-train programs, and owner education. Her goal is to bridge the gap between people and their pets—helping families build confidence, consistency, and lasting trust with their dogs.
Whether she’s guiding clients through their first consultation, managing the day-to-day operations of the company, or working hands-on with dogs, Julianna’s calm, patient approach and attention to detail keep Quality K9 Concepts running smoothly and successfully.
Morgan S
Morgan serves as the K9 Operations and Training Coordinator, overseeing all aspects of detection services and training programs while ensuring the highest operational standards are met. Morgan brings an extensive background in K9 handling across both law enforcement and the private sector, where she has developed a comprehensive understanding of detection operations and canine behavior.
In her current role, Morgan manages the selection, development, and performance of detection dogs trained for various different roles. She also coordinates the administrative and operational components of detection deployments, ensuring that every team meets QK9C’s standards of professionalism and reliability.
Morgan’s combined experience in field operations, training, and program management provides a balanced and strategic approach that strengthens the efficiency, quality, and consistency of the company’s detection programs. Her commitment to excellence ensures that every canine team is prepared to perform with precision and integrity across a wide range of environments.

Olivia H
Olivia's journey as a dog trainer began after facing personal challenges with her own dog. After struggling to address behavioral issues, she spent several years honing her skills and developing a deep understanding of canine behavior. This experience fueled her passion for understanding dogs on a deeper level and inspired her to pursue a professional career in dog training.
Over the past four years, she has used her personal experience as a foundation to help dog owners facing similar challenges through basic obedience and behavior modification techniques. Olivia works with dogs of all breeds and ages, helping them develop good behavior, confidence, and strong relationships with their owners. Her background allows her to provide individualized training, ensuring a well-rounded, balanced experience for every dog she works with.
When she’s not training, Olivia enjoys staying active in the dog community through conformation, rally, and dock diving events. Her continued involvement in these sports keeps her skills sharp and reflects her lifelong commitment to strengthening the bond between people and their dogs.
Carolyn W
Carolyn brings a wealth of hands-on experience and passion to Quality K9 Concepts. As both a dedicated dog trainer and the owner of Woodwolf Kennels, she has built her career around developing well-bred, well-trained dogs with strong temperaments and clear purpose. Her deep understanding of canine behavior, structure, and genetics gives her a unique perspective on training—allowing her to tailor her approach to bring out each dog’s full potential.
Whether she’s working with client dogs, preparing young dogs for their future roles, or competing with her own dogs in various venues, Carolyn’s commitment to excellence is evident in everything she does. She is constantly training, handling, and refining her craft—earning titles and accolades that showcase both her skill and her dogs’ capabilities.
At Quality K9 Concepts, Carolyn combines her experience as a breeder and trainer to create balanced, confident, and reliable dogs. Her work reflects a genuine love for the process—from early puppy development to advanced obedience and performance work. Carolyn’s professionalism, attention to detail, and lifelong dedication to the canine world make her a valued member of the QK9C team.
Felicia R.
With 40 years of experience in dog training, Felicia remains passionate about enhancing the lives of pets and their owners. Her diverse career in the pet service industry includes owning a pet store for 10 years, where she provided supplies, training, and grooming services. Felicia has been successfully competing with her own dogs in IGP (Schutzhund), Tracking, Agility,& AKC Obedience. Felicia employs cutting-edge, compassionate training techniques, leveraging her extensive experience to oƯer comprehensive training for both dogs and their human companions. Known for her patience, she takes the time to listen and understand the unique needs of each individual and their pet. Felicia has been a valued member of the QK9C family since 2021.
In addition to her impressive training career, Felicia proudly spearheaded the development of a Therapy Dog group in Myrtle Beach, guiding dog teams from Canine Good Citizen certification to becoming fully certified Therapy Dogs.
When she’s not training, Felicia can be found working with her highly decorated partner, Bella, whom she owner-trained, handled, and titled. She enjoys country living on 17 fenced acres, finding peace in sharing her life with her dogs and providing a welcoming space for all her Board and Train pups.
Josh
Josh brings over three decades of experience to Quality K9 Concepts. Over the years, he has worked with a wide variety of breeds across specialized fields, including detection, protection, search and rescue (SAR), cadaver, and hunting. Josh is also a certified judge and decoy in the Practical Protection Dog sport. His extensive background in everything from basic to advanced obedience has honed his ability to create well-trained, reliable, and confident dogs across multiple disciplines.
At Quality K9 Concepts, Josh focuses on fostering harmony between dogs and their owners, bringing a deep commitment to balanced, effective training. His own dogs—a German Shepherd named Duko and a Dutch Shepherd named Das—reflect his love for working breeds and his hands-on experience with their unique needs.
Working alongside him, his wife Dana shares his dedication to the craft. Introduced to the working-dog world through her first partner, a Blue Belgian Malinois, Dana continues to grow her knowledge and skill under Josh’s mentorship. What started as a shared passion for dogs has grown into a lifelong partnership—both in marriage and in training.
