QK9C breeds, raises, and trains their dogs according to the needs of the client. We have trained dogs in the areas of narcotics detection, explosive detection, search and rescue and patrol training. We offer Dual Purpose dogs in either Patrol/Narcotics or Patrol/Explosives. We also offer Personal Protection Dogs. With the purchase of each dog, the new owner will be given training with their dog to insure a perfect match between dog and handler has been achieved.
Matt Hammond saw a need for quality working dogs in the Southeast and took advantage of his military training, the result was Quality K9 Concepts.
QK9C operates in Harlem, Georgia. We have 3 full time trainers to include Hammond and 2 part time trainers. This formula has proven itself to be the most cost effective approach eliminating the overhead and lowering the cost to the buyer.
QK9C operates as a train to order kennel, meaning we do not keep a lot of dogs on hand. We train them as ordered, lowering the overall cost and now giving the consumer the ability to custom-tailor a dog for their needs.

I got an email that took my feet out from under me. Santos Cardona had been killed in action. Santos Cardona and his Working Dog were Killed In Action (KIA) February 28, 2009 in Uruzgan Providence, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan when the vehicle he was riding in struck a buried Improvised Explosive Device. I served with Santos in Germany and on two deployments. He was a great handler, Soldier and Friend. Santos you will be missed. Your fight is over "Pork and Cheese" Rest in Peace now. Dena and I will never forget you.
